Robert Half Senior Internal Auditor in Edison, New Jersey

Description

The Senior Internal Auditor will be instrumental in handling data analytics, managing internal control auditing, and contributing to special projects for management. The role also involves significant interaction with our Oracle ERP system.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive data analytics to support internal audits

• Managing internal control auditing processes for efficiency and efficacy

• Contributing to special projects for management, providing critical insights and recommendations

• Utilizing Oracle or a similar major ERP system for various tasks

• Actively collaborating with other team members and departments for cross-functional projects

• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and changes in regulations

• Assisting in the development and implementation of internal auditing strategies and procedures

• Ensuring all auditing activities adhere to company policies and standards

• Providing detailed reports on audit findings and making recommendations for improving our audit and control processes

• Handling sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.

Requirements

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred

• Minimum of seven years of experience in internal auditing, public accounting, or a related field within professional associations

• Extensive knowledge of auditing principles and procedures

• Proven experience in planning and executing audits

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial information and make recommendations

• Proficiency in Oracle software is a must

• Excellent communication skills for preparing and presenting audit findings

• Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work output

• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information

• Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and changes in regulations.
