Key Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the full order cycle of equipment for all projects.

• Place orders with suppliers and vendors as needed for equipment rentals and purchases.

• Ensure timely delivery and setup of equipment on-site and troubleshoot any delivery issues.

• Manage and maintain equipment inventories, ensuring efficient utilization and minimizing downtime.

• Oversee the rental and scheduling of trucks for job site requirements.

• Ensure compliance with all provincial and federal transportation rules regarding weight, dimensions, and handling of materials.

• Liaise with project managers to confirm equipment and fleet requirements for each project.

• Monitor and adjust schedules to ensure on-time deliveries for truck and equipment availability.

• Develop and maintain relationships with equipment rental companies and fleet providers to secure competitive rates.

• Support Accounts Payable Coordinator in processing vendor invoices for equipment and fleet rentals.

• Conduct regular inventory counts of equipment and fleet assets across all branches.

• Ensure that all equipment and fleet meet safety and compliance standards, including maintenance records and certifications.

• Assist Construction Manager(s) in managing supply chain strategies to optimize equipment and fleet value.

• Track and report equipment and fleet expenditures for each project.

• Identify opportunities for cost reductions and recommend improvements to equipment and fleet management processes.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience working in related supply chain, logistics, or equipment/fleet coordination.

• Experience with equipment and fleet management software.

• Familiarity with provincial transportation rules and their impact trucking restrictions

• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate concisely and in a timely manner.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various conferencing applications.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
