Insight Global EPM Consultant in Edmonton, Alberta

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking talented and experienced EPM Consultant to join one of Alberta's leading post secondary institution on a 5 month, fully remote contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing EPM solutions for our client. This resource will be responsible for understanding business requirements, translating them into technical solutions, and leading the architecture, design, and deployment of PeopleSoft EPM solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

EPM Consultant duties include:

· Prepare the system for Annual Budgeting and Quarterly Forecasts

· Troubleshoot and resolve system issues

· Provide different solutions (with impact analysis) that address the issues or challenges aligned with the organization's vision

· Implement solutions to improve the efficiency of processes, improve user experience, and reduce risks

· Address queries and provide end-user support

· Recommend process changes as needed

· Review and apply monthly system updates, monitoring and flagging any upcoming changes

· Application maintenance and clean-up tasks

· Monitor batch jobs on daily basis

· Act as a point of contact and liaison with software vendors

· Provide sessions on EPM functionality as needed by ITS

· Determine areas for optimization within the current/new functionalities

Develop and implement the changes as needed

Skills and Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role

  • Familiarity with EPM leading practices and methodologies

  • Experienced with Jira for creating detailed reports and dashboards to track system issues and document progress

  • Proven ability to facilitate knowledge transfer

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders - Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology null
