Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment, as well as performing facility maintenance tasks. This role involves troubleshooting issues, conducting reactive and preventive maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment and facility systems.
Responsibilities
Perform reactive maintenance and troubleshoot issues with machinery and equipment.
Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal operation of production equipment.
Repair and maintain NC equipment, press brakes, CNC brake press, seam welders, shear, CNC Turret Punch Press, Punch Press, Press Brake, Spotwelder, Power Press, power roller, hydro press, resistance seam welder, and expander.
Handle electrical repairs and maintenance tasks involving AC voltage (180V – 480V) and 3-phase systems.
Replace pumps and perform plumbing tasks, including working with PVC and copper lines.
Maintain hydraulic systems and machinery.
Perform facility maintenance tasks such as replacing light ballasts, unclogging toilets, and repairing airlines.
Ensure HAZMAT disposal is conducted safely and in compliance with regulations.
Essential Skills
Experience with electrical systems, including AC voltage (180V – 480V) and 3-phase systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems.
Ability to perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
Experience with CNC equipment, laser machines, manual mills, weld machines, punch presses, and brake presses.
Knowledge of plumbing tasks, including working with PVC and copper lines, and unclogging toilets.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to install, repair, or rebuild equipment and replace parts as necessary.
Understanding of general construction principles, including plumbing, hydraulics, electrical, and pneumatics.
Capability to maintain and repair facility systems and equipment.

Work Environment
The work environment is an aerospace manufacturer and machine shop. You will work with various technologies and equipment, including CNC machines, laser cutters, manual mills, weld machines, and hydraulic systems. The role involves both production equipment maintenance and facility maintenance tasks. The dress code is appropriate for a manufacturing environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of El Cajon, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr.
