ADP Marketing/Creative Writer: Communications Project Coordinator in El Paso, Texas

ADP is hiring a Marketing/Creative Writer: Communications Project Coordinator. In this position, you'll be a “go-to” for writing content and communications campaign management for a key strategic initiative within ADP’s hyper-growth business called Human Resources Outsourcing. This role is charged with creating action-oriented communications to target audiences including clients, their workers and our own associates who work at ADP.

You will join a leading customer relationship team that leverages the power of creativity, the beauty of an idea and the magic of technology to nurture and sustain strong relationships between brands and their customers.

You are more than a creative writer and a quick learner. While you have writing and campaign management experience, you want to grow and become an expert in your craft. Your copy is fresh and clean, free of clichés and grammatical errors. Plus, you’re constantly seeking new ways to tell the story and you have a powerful portfolio of writing samples to back it up.

What you’ll do: Responsibilities

What you can expect on a typical day:

  • Develop communications for a significant, go-to-market strategic initiative. You will deeply embed yourself with a particular process and area of the business, understand the audience and find numerous ways to connect with them through your words – masterfully articulating the same thing, in different ways, in order to drive outcomes.

  • Apply an overarching creative concept into various communication channels and for defined target audiences. You’re comfortable bringing the vision to life through powerful story telling.

  • Use market trends, data and sentiment to create and manage smart multi-channel communications for internal and external audiences that meet key business objectives including behavior change, improved client experience and more. You enjoy taking learnings and outcomes and finding ways to apply those results in your creative to constantly hone and in on improve the experience.

  • Write for the 360-degree award-winning communication experience using every channel be it: email, web, mobile, presentations, Town Halls and more.

  • Comfortable writing for multiple communications simultaneously and working with stakeholders directly to evaluate and counsel on work requests, balancing work in queue and stakeholder expectations to help set priorities for success.

  • Support leadership in effectively communicating crucial product, service, pricing, compliance and other functionally led initiatives to clients, client employees and ADP associates across a variety of channels from email, newsletters, video and more.

  • Identify opportunities to maximize communication effectiveness to drive awareness and engagement with internal and external audiences.

  • Work closely with internal resources across ADP.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • Minimum of five years of related experience in marketing, communication, creative writing or other role(s) that focus on creating targeted and measured programs deployed across a variety of touchpoints.

  • You have regularly produced highly visible internal and external materials in various forms — emails, brochures, newsletters and more.

  • Enjoy working on multiple high-priority projects and processes in a fast-paced and ever-shifting environment.

  • Can balance stakeholder expectations and can comfortably speak and negotiate with senior leaders about priority work for successful capacity planning.

  • Believe in the importance of writing in a corporate tone, while actively applying empathy and a “human” voice to communications – and layering in AP style flawlessly.

  • You have demonstrated the ability to develop strategic communications for different audiences inclusive of B2B, B2C and employees.

  • You have handled highly sensitive confidential information with the utmost ethical practice.

  • Experience working collaboratively in matrix environments and managing external partners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Writing, Communications, PR or related field or equivalent in education and experience.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Commitment to being accountable for results.

  • Capacity for building relationships both internally and externally.

  • Strong focus on client service.

  • Ability to think independently and make decisions.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Collaborative approach to work.
