We at Fairview Health Services are looking for Medical Assistant to join the dedicated team at our Elk River Clinic. This position is approved for 72 hours every two weeks. We believe the schedule for this role will be:
Mondays 7am - 6:15 pm
Tuesdays 7 am - Noon
Wednesdays Off
Thursdays 7am - 6:15 pm
Friday 7am - 4:45 pm

Responsibilities Job Description
As a member of the patients care team, the Medical Assistant supports quality patient centered care principles through performing a variety of high standard functions supporting the needs of both the healthcare team and patients. The MA will collect information and documents to support the patient visit. The MA is responsible for adhering to all policies, procedures and practice guidelines, promoting cohesion with all members of the health care team, maintaining complete, timely and accurate clinical documentation for each patient and continually looking for opportunities to improve processes and workflow
Delivers care as delegated by the authorized practitioner to assigned patient population, or individual patient.
Prioritizes work based on patient acuity, available resources, patient support team preferences, provider schedule, in collaboration with other care team members.
Efficiently communicates compliance and concerns to delegating physician/authorized practitioner/RN.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or LPN
Basic Life Support Certification
Preferred Qualifications
Ambulatory Care Experience
AAMA Certification
