Aston Carter Office Manager in Elkhart, Indiana
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager (Accountant) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing office operations, overseeing accounting functions, and ensuring the smooth running of our administrative processes. This role requires a proactive individual with strong financial acumen and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day office operations, including administrative support and office maintenance.
Oversee accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Assist in the development and implementation of office policies and procedures.
Manage office supplies and inventory.
Support HR functions, including onboarding, employee records, and benefits administration.
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Provide support to management as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Office Manager, Accountant, or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry-specific regulations is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $36.00/hr.
