About the Role:

As Staff Accountant, you will be a key contributor to the daily accounting functions of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the daily operations of the accounting department

Maintain Accounts Payable Approval System, including invoice data entry

Review the accuracy and completeness of employee weekly timesheets

Collect and summarize monthly employee expense reports

Contribute to project job costing and financial tracking for construction projects

Perform account analysis and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy

Support other special accounting projects as needed

Additional Tasks:

Assist with accounts receivable processes

Manage and maintain employee records

Maintain Company Credit Card Accounts

Maintain general ledger accounts and assist with journal entries

Manage cash flow and assist with monthly bank reconciliations

Oversee fixed asset management and related reporting

Assist with year-end reporting and collaborate with external CPA firm for corporate tax preparation

What Were Looking For:

Bachelors degree in Accounting (or related field)

min of 4+ years of accounting experience preferred

Detail-oriented, accuracy and strong ethics REQUIRED

Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software

Construction accounting experience is a plus
