The local delivery Crane Truck Driver will safely and efficiently deliver finished goods, products, and materials to customers in a timely and professional manner. Responsibilities include: * Operates a tri axle truck with attached crane according to applicable state and federal transportation laws. * Transports loads safely and in a timely manner over required route, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations. * Deftly maneuvers truck and trailer/crane into loading and unloading areas; follows loading crew signals. * Assists with loading and unloading of goods and materials, using attached crane; returns all equipment to designated area. * Maintains signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, receive payments from customers as needed and other required paperwork; delivers documentation to shipping office or other appropriate staff when delivery route is complete. * Facilitates routine service on trucks, which may include checking oil, water, gasoline, and air; reports maintenance malfunctions to Mechanic. * Arranges truck/trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns. * Conduct all job responsibilities in a safe manner in alignment with federal, state, and company rules and restrictions. * Strip forms and prepare concrete forms for shipping, including sealing and patching. * Perform basic material handling, moving product with overhead cranes. * Assist in shop duties including forming, setting, moving, storing products. * Use of power tools as necessary. * General housekeeping. * Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: * Must hold required commercial driver's CDL Class B license appropriate for weight of vehicle to be operated. * Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations. * One year of commercial driving experience * High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required * 2 years Boom/Crane experience preferred but not required.
