Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking a Machine Operator experienced in set-ups in partnership with a prominent client in Endicott, NY within the machining industry

Machine Operator Job Summary

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

1st Shift: Monday -- Friday; 7am to 3:30pm

• Sets up and runs one or more of the following general processes as required by job instructions. (
• Must work in a safe manner and report any safety, machine, or equipment issues.
• Starting machine and monitoring displays of machine operation to detect malfunctions
• Determines and documents machine set ups for each part as needed.
• Stopping machine to change cutting tools and setup according to required machining sequence or to measure parts for conformance to blueprint specifications.
• Makes all edits and adjustments as required to produce parts to work orders/blueprint specifications/sketches. The ability to operate more than one machine in a cellular environment is required with most progressive tools.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, planning sheets, sketches.
• Inspects work for all dimensional features as required and produces quality and quantity of work in accordance with company requirements.

Machine Operator Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2+ years of industry experience

• Experience in milling machines preferred
