WHO WE NEED
We are seeking a versatile and team-oriented Civil Engineer to join our Civil Group. The desired candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, or an Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5 years' experience. FE and or PE License Preferred, however not required. Individuals who are intending to obtain these Licenses are encouraged to apply.
Proficiency in HydroCAD, MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is required, InRoads Storm & Sanitary and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge is preferred. Past experience in the development of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans which implemented green infrastructure for site and linear projects is preferred.
Primary duties will include:
Performing work which involves conventional types of plans, investigations, surveys, structures, and/or equipment.
Solving engineering problems using experience, judgment, and education.
Becoming proficient in group design software.
Preparing or assisting in the preparation of engineering documents, details, schedules, or reports as assigned.
Attending client meetings/presentations.
Communicating with client representatives, contractors, and suppliers.
Serving on field inspection teams to obtain and document existing conditions using field notes, sketches, and photography.
Developing quantity take-offs and construction cost estimates.
Participating in site visits/inspections during construction.
Delta is driven to exceed our clients’ expectations on every project. Accordingly, the successful applicant for this position must be willing to occasionally work adjusted hours/overtime.
Hiring Salary Range: $60,000-$80,000 (Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities along with an internal equity and alignment with market area data.)
