The Hertz Corporation Sr Dir Process Engineering in Estero, Florida
The Sr Director Process Engineering provides Global process excellence transformation and guidance through the development, documentation, implementation, and validation of processes utilizing Theory of Constraints. They will design and implement corporate strategy and goals for the Technical Operations teams to increase productivity, reducing waste, and improving efficiencies. Working across functions and partnering with Fleet and Operations to enable collaboration and best practices to be shared and achieved. This person will also provide education and development opportunities to strengthen overall organizational capability and engrain process excellence & improvement capabilities throughout Hertz.
The starting salary for this role is $150K; commensurate with experience.
What You’ll Do:
Develop, document, and implementation global strategy and roadmap for process improvement within Technical Operations.
Utilize Theory of Constraints to identify opportunity, integration of resources, and prioritizations within the Technical Operations function
Advise Senior Leadership Team and provide strategic direction on opportunities within processes improvement
Generate and manage a pipeline of recommended initiatives that will drive greater advances and integration within the company.
Develop Best practices and associated training for Zone / Sites and work with Global Learning to implement training to achieve best in class results.
Work cross functionally with business leaders to drive continuous improvement between company functions, partnering to eliminate roadblocks and tear down operational silos
Lead and coordinate process assessments to make recommendations for immediate improvements
What We’re Looking For:
7 years’ experience in process improvement
Theory of Constraints preferred
Blackbelt in Lean / Six Sigma a plus
Bachelors in business or engineering related field required
Degree in Industrial Engineering Preferred
Moderate proficiency in Microsoft suite
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations
Ability to influence

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
