Description

We are seeking an Accounting Clerk for team located in Eugene Oregon. This role involves managing a variety of accounting tasks, including processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with stores to ensure they are adhering to the proper protocol.

• Ensure credits/refunds from vendors are processed in a timely manner.

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Data Entry, and Microsoft Excel to perform duties effectively.

• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Maintain a strong understanding of General Ledger (GL)

• Ensure all data entries are accurate and up-to-date.

• Adhere to all department protocols and procedures.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required

• Must have experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Strong Data Entry skills are necessary

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a requirement

• Must have a background in the transport industry

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities are necessary

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required

• Must demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency

• Confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information is required

• Prior experience in a similar role in the accounting department is preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is necessary

• Must have knowledge of standard accounting principles and procedures

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively is required.
