Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the non-profit sector, located in Eugene, Oregon. This position requires a diligent individual who will be tasked with handling various financial functions, including managing donor information, account reconciliation, and backup for accounts payable.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter and reconcile donor information to the appropriate accounts.

• Serve as a backup for handling accounts payable.

• Distribute mail and other correspondences effectively.

• Operate within the Financial Edge/Blackbaud system to manage financial data.

• Ensure understanding and application of debits/credits in financial operations.

• Utilize advanced Excel skills to format spreadsheets and implement formulas.

• Maintain a comprehensive manual with screenshots detailing different processes.

Requirements

• Possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation, ensuring accurate and timely financial records.

• Proven experience working with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), demonstrating proficiency in managing and maintaining financial records.

• Must have experience in Billing, showing the ability to process, track, and record payments in a timely manner.

• Proficient in Data Entry, demonstrating a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Experience in Invoice Processing, including verifying, calculating, and inputting data for use in financial records.

• Must be skilled in Microsoft Excel, showcasing the ability to create spreadsheets, use advanced formulas, and perform data analysis.
