Aerotek Inspector Packer in EVANSVILLE, Indiana
Job Description
The Inspector Packer is responsible for performing product inspections to determine conformance with specifications and packaging these products according to customer requirements. Job Duties include:
Understand the product line. Know the function of the product and any potential product defects that can adversely affect the function or application of the product.
Perform production verifications at the start of an order and each shift.
Perform the required visual inspections at the start of each shift and at the interval specified in the data acquisition software.
Utilize the data acquisition software to determine which gauging (if necessary) must be performed during the production run to ensure quality standards are met.
Keep accurate documentation
Inspect parts on the conveyor belts and in product containers throughout the shift, and perform liner inspections as required
If applicable, periodically check the glue tank level to ensure a proper supply of glue is available to the machine.
Properly package and handle the production per the assigned manufacturing specification.
Accurately record scrap and place the scrap in the proper containers.
Assist in the performance of the machine startups and shutdowns and line clearances, and keep machine downtime to a minimum.
Keep the workstation clean and neat at all times by utilizing good housekeeping practices.
Shift & Pay
1st shift 6am-6pm 2/2/3 schedule
$16.50/hr. on contract. Will increase to $17.72/hr at conversion

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in EVANSVILLE, Indiana.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of the job, the contractors are regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to various types of equipment that have vibration. The noise level in the work environment requires hearing protection. Clean work environment, climate controlled. Good air quality working in plastics. Family-friendly type environment.
