Responsibilities

• Communicate changes and tool evaluations to engineers and location managers

• Verify and update mold drawings both internally and through outside vendors

• Repair and troubleshoot molds at the molding machine

• Lead project team on mold refurbishments and modifications

• Manufacture mold components per supplied prints

• Provide training to mold repair technicians

• Investigatenew technology

• Perform preventative maintenance work on molds

• Repair injection molds and hot runner issues

• Safelyoperatehoists, mold cart, and lift equipment

Qualifications

• 2 yr degree in Machine Trades Technology (Tool & Die) or Precision MachiningTechnology

• Machine shop mathematics (algebra, geometry,trigonometry)

• Ability to run conventional machine shop machines (including CNC equipment)

• Demonstrated problem solving andstrong communicationskills

• Experience reading and interpretingdocumentssuch as safety rules,operatingand maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructionsfurnishedin written, oral, or diagram form
