Your Responsibilities:

• Hands-On Maintenance: Drain and replace oil on equipment, perform minor CNC machine repairs, and train on CNC mills and lathes.

• Precision Work: Read and understand blueprints, measure parts with tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.

• Product Assembly: Use hand and power tools to assemble high-quality products.

What We're Looking For:

• Mechanical Aptitude: A skillset in manufacturing or mechanics is a plus.

• Reliability: A strong attendance record is essential.

• Additional Skills: Experience with hand tools, general labor, machine operation, and production. Familiarity with oil changes, lubrication, and CNC machines is a bonus.

Work Environment:

• Collaborative Team: Join a team of around 80 employees, including 10 contract workers, across departments like welding, machining, assembly, shipping, and clerical work.

• Independent Work: Enjoy the freedom to work independently while being part of a supportive team.

• Flexible Schedule: Be open to learning new skills and working collaboratively, including possible weekend shifts.

• Contract to Hire: Based in Fairbury, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
