As an Electronic Assembler in our Repairs Group at Microwave Products Group - Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH, you will support the military community by disassembling and reassembling large and small systems including soldering electronic components, wires and other electronic parts to designated locations on printed circuit assemblies in accordance with IPC-A-610 requirements. Primary Responsibilities of this position include: Disassemble and assemble large and small systems. Disassemble and assemble modules, solder electronic components, wires and other electronic parts to designated locations on printed circuit boards in accordance with IPC-A-610 Class 3 requirements by interpreting assembly drawings and work instructions Incorporation of engineering changes to new and existing products at board level by interpreting assembly drawings and work instructions Record activity into IFS Configuration control documentation Work all returns, repairs, retrofits per customer needs Knowledge, skills and abilities strongly preferred include: Possess expert electronic and mechanical assembly skills with ability to apply them across many product lines Possess expert understanding of assembly parts and mounting methods for products that utilize RF technology High level of proficiency in rework methods and techniques Must be able to demonstrate the ability to make decisions based upon sound logic and knowledge of the electronic assembly and test confluence Must possess strong problem solving skills and apply them as necessary Proven ability to read and understand complex assembly drawings with or without work instructions Ability to successfully pass the in-house soldering test Working knowledge and experience with IFS or similar ERP system a real plus Computer skills required for data entry purposes.
