Amentum Security Guard in FALLON, Nevada
The successful Guard I The primary duty is to observe and report security and emergency situations. Intervenes directly only in situations which require minimal action to safeguard property or persons.
Carries out detailed instructions and procedures primarily oriented to ensure that emergencies and security violations are readily discovered and reported to the appropriate authority.
Serves at a fixed post, making rounds on foot or by motor vehicle, or escorting persons or property.
May help visitors and customers by answering questions and giving directions.
Ensures all aircraft are properly secured, to include; Both main wheels are chocked, Minimum 3-point tie down, Gust locks properly set, Intake plugs installed, Egress seat checkout for shutting throttles off, Canopy covers in place and tight.
Reports presence of non-uniform personnel to Base Security.
Reports unusual circumstances which are not covered within the scope of this instruction, to management and/or Base Security, utilizing phone list provided.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance.
Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be able to work all assigned shifts & schedules.
Ability to operate flight line vehicle.
Good written communication and phone skills.
Must know proper safety procedures concerning fuel leaks and other hazardous materials.
Must have one year of security guard experience.
