Summary

The C-sUAS Systems Engineer will support the government by providing hands-on systems engineering services for C-sUAS systems.

This position is contingent upon additional funding.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic system testing of C-sUAS sensor systems and effectors to monitor persormance and identify anomalities.

• Design and execute system assessments to evaluate performance of new and emerging C-sUAS technologies

• Conduct data analysis for systems to assist with the refinement and expansion of current sensing capabilities and sustain optimal operational readiness.

• Make recommendations to reduce or eliminate false alarms.

• Manage maintenance database to analyze trends and determine root cause of failures and system degradation and develop periodic reports.

• Support post drone incident analysis and report development

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in conducting technology assessments of current and newly emerging sensor technologies.

• Two years of experience of CUAS detection and mitigation systems.

• Bachelor’s Degree in general engineering or related field.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate via written and oral means effectively

• Demonstrated critical thinking capability

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experience working in DOD field.

• Master’s degree preferred.

• Knowledge of Microsoft applications and programs.

• Excellent writing and speaking skills are essential.

• Ability to manage installation and maintenance schedules to complete work to acceptable standards within the time allotted

• Ability to troubleshoot electronic security systems

• Ability to work collaboratively in a combined industry/government group
