Job Description:

We are seeking a Cloud Licensing Administrator with in-depth expertise in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 (M365) licensing.

HOW A Cloud Licensing Administrator WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Microsoft Azure & M365 Licensing Management

  • Analyze, manage, and optimize Microsoft Azure and M365 licensing agreements to ensure cost efficiency and compliance.

  • Monitor licensing consumption and provide recommendations to optimize costs while aligning with business requirements.

  • Advise on the best licensing models and subscription plans based on company needs and future scalability.

  • Assist in license procurement and renewals with Microsoft and resellers.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with Microsoft licensing agreements and policies, reducing risks of non-compliance penalties.

  • Conduct regular audits to track and validate software licensing usage.

  • Collaborate with internal IT, procurement, and finance teams to ensure adherence to licensing policies.

Cost Management & Optimization

  • Implement cost-saving strategies by identifying unused or underutilized licenses.

  • Analyze billing and usage reports to provide insights for financial planning and budgeting.

  • Develop strategies for automating license tracking and deallocation to prevent unnecessary spending.

Consultation & Support

  • Serve as the primary licensing expert for internal stakeholders, providing guidance on best licensing practices.

  • Train IT and procurement teams on Microsoft licensing changes, pricing models, and cost-saving strategies.

  • Stay up to date with Microsoft’s evolving licensing programs, pricing models, and enterprise agreements.

Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with IT and procurement teams to align licensing with organizational goals and cloud adoption strategies.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

● Education: High School Diploma required

● Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience

● Required Technical Skills: Proven experience 5+ years managing Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 licensing in an enterprise environment.

● Preferred Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess license usage reports, billing, and financial impact

● Location: Hybrid

The likely salary range for this position is $105,622 - $97,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
