Spherion Staffing has fulltime openings for Cycle Counter. The Cycle Counter position is responsible for continuous cycle counts of inventory in a timely manner while on feet. The Cycle Counter researches all data available to resolve discrepancies and adheres to proper inventory control and procedures. This position requires 2 years experience in similar position and must have experience operating a forklift.

Initial Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm / 3:30pm-12:00am; all training regardless of shift will be Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm Normal hours of operation: 1st shift: Monday-Thur, 6am-4:30pm 2nd shift: Monday-Thur, 4:30pm-3am Weekend: Fri-Sun, 6am-6pm

Pay: $21/hour (1st shift), $22/hour (2nd shift) and $22.50/hour (Weekend 1st shift)

Responsibilities: -Perform physical inventory count and compare results with system data -Research discrepancies between physical and system count -Communicate cycle count finding to those responsible for inventory -Adhere to the cycle counting procedures and guidelines -Maintain inventory count records and data files -Investigate origin of discrepancies -Other duties as assigned

Requirements: -High school education or equivalent

-Minimum of 2 years experience in similar position -Must have experience operating a forklift -Computer applications experience using MS Office -Excellent oral and written communications skills -Excellent analytical and mathematical skills -Excellent customer service skills -Ability to work independently -Must be able to follow policies and safety procedures -Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction -Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including weekends and potentially holidays as needed by the customer

-Must be able to stand and walk for continuous periods of time

Desired Skills 3-6 months stock/cherry picker experience. Strong basic math skills.
