Job Title: Traveling Service Technician

Job Description

Our Technicians will be traveling with one of our two crews to service areas including North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and occasionally Colorado. This position requires 100% travel work from Monday to Friday, with the aim to return home by Thursday, giving you Friday off. We are looking for candidates with mechanical experience who are comfortable with travel.

Responsibilities

• Dis-assemble and re-assemble air seeding equipment to repair, test operation, and make necessary adjustments.

• Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools, cutting tools, etc.

• Use reason to solve problems as they arise.

• Determine the correct hand tools, power tools, and processes to best complete mechanical tasks.

• Ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of the work environment.

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and maneuver in tight spaces or under equipment

• Ability to travel

Work Environment

You will work outdoors in farm fields, meeting at the shop in Fargo on Monday to leave in a company truck with a crew to the job site and plan to return Thursday or Friday of that week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
