Description

We are offering part time, long-term contract for a Bookkeeper role in our team based in Farmingdale, New York. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing customer credit applications, and resolving customer inquiries. This position plays a key role in the financial management and operations within our company.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a variety of bookkeeping tasks utilizing QuickBooks.

• Accurately process customer credit applications and maintain precise customer credit records.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable duties.

• Conduct bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.

• Perform end-of-month book closing procedures.

• Assist in additional tasks such as answering phones as needed.

• Participate in collection calls when necessary.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for tasks such as creating tables and manipulating pivot tables.

• Complete data entry tasks and maintain organized files.

• Execute payroll duties as required.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to conduct Bank Reconciliations

• Strong bookkeeping skills

• Experience with Data Entry

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close

• Proficiency in QuickBooks
