Major Focus: Manage all activities and production personnel associated with the manufacturing of the High Purity Value Stream, ensuring accountability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Achieving annual operating goals set by the operations directors, related to Delivery, Quality and Productivity

2. Supervision and development of value stream employees

3. Creating a culture of responsibility and ownership

4. Oversee all operations in department to maximize capacity and efficiency

Major Challenges:

1. Successful communication across shifts and handoff of tasks

2. Driving improvements in daily operations while maintain delivery metrics

3. Fluctuations in product mix and volumes in production requires detailed planning

Expected Performance Outcomes:

1. Safety: Safety issues identified and addressed in a timely manner. Complete and accurate reporting of incidents and near-misses. Zero recordables. 100% compliance to all required safety training.

2. Quality: Zero customer returns due to Quality.

3. Delivery: 98% Customer OTCRD

4. Productivity: Drive year over year cost out reductions through Quality, training, cycle time optimization

Required Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Manufacturing

2. 2-5 years technical or leadership experience (with degree) or 10 years without degree.

3. Proven success in problem solving and completing projects

4. Proficient in use of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Technical Knowledge/Skills:

1. Manufacturing processes and equipment

2. Knowledge of production and testing equipment

3. Technical problem solving

4. Continuous Improvement mindset

5. Training skills a plus
