Job Description: CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 2

Pay Range: $30/hr. - $37/hr.

Location: Onsite, Fayetteville, GA

Duration: 6 – 18 Months

Shift Schedule: Day shift, Thursday through Saturday, and every other Wednesday.

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 2 to join our team. This role involves working in a high-availability critical infrastructure environment, such as a data center, where you will perform electrical equipment inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities. You will follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure all safety protocols are adhered to while performing the job. Previous data center experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily operational readings on electrical equipment through routine rounds and log-taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.).

• Follow SOPs for critical environment planned work activities.

• Energize cabinets in a Colo (colocation) environment.

• Perform quarterly and annual preventative maintenance on Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems.

• Conduct preventative maintenance on system control panels and batteries.

• Assist in troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing instrument sensors and calibrations.

• Adhere to all safety procedures and comply with physical security procedures and policies.

• Ensure efficient operation and maintenance of electrical systems while maintaining a high level of safety and reliability.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience in electrical systems within critical infrastructure environments (e.g., data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical facilities, manufacturing, etc.).

• Must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

• 3+ years of work/applied learning experience in technical fields (e.g., automotive, electrical, controls, data center).

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, and 3-, 4-, or 5-day work weeks.

• Basic understanding and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).

• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain compliance in a critical environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Qualified Electrical Worker certification is preferred.

• Previous data center experience is highly desired.

• Fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code is required.
