The Material Expediter (SAAS) is responsible for maintaining computer record/files for all transactions affecting accountability of ammunition and explosives assigned to FT. Bragg Ammunition Supply Point. They are the focal point for operations /actions in the Stock Control Section, they receive and process ammunition receipts, ammunition issues, tally expenditures, ammunition turn-in‘s, condition code changes, identity changes and account code changes. They will assist in plaining and conducting quarterly and special inventories. They will address issues with SAAS and submit trouble tickets.

Major Responsibilities:
Process Ammunition Issue (DA Form 581)
Process Ammunition Turn-In (DA Form 581)
Process Ammunition Receipt (DD Form 1348-1A, DD Form 1907, DA Form 3151 R)
Process Condition Code Change (AMC 4508)
Assist with Quarterly and Special Inventories
Perform causative research for stock record imbalances.
Collect and present requested data for Operating Materials & Supplies (OM&S) audit.
Requirements may change due to contractual obligations
Working Environment:
This position works indoors most of the time. However, some work may be conducted outdoors in an austere environment.
Work will typically be in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
Must be willing to work additional hours when mission requires. This position requires flexibility in work hours due to operational requirements.
Physical Activities:
Must be able to lift a maximum of 20 pounds unassisted.
Must be able to climb in and out of military vehicles and related equipment.
Must be able to operate in a prolonged sitting or standing environment.
Must be able to walk on uneven ground and within work various sites 2 - 3 hours in the performance of duties.
Material & Equipment Directly Used:
Computers, Fax machine, Copier, Printer and Phones. Personal computer systems, Microsoft Office Programs, Microsoft SharePoint, and any other pertinent software and general office equipment.
Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment, such as Face Mask, eyes, hand, head, and approved safety footwear.
Use of Government Furnished vehicle.
Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Certificates:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
Must be able to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Bragg Military Installation
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Must be able to pass both federal and local background check to have unaccompanied access to arms, ammunition and explosives.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Must be able to provide US Citizenship documentation, such as a birth certificate or passport.
May be required to successfully pass Ammo 62 course (Technical Transportation of Hazardous Materials (CERT) (9E-F58/322-F37)
Forklift OSHA Operator Training preferred.
Skills & Experience:
Six years’ experience on supply operations warehouse level.
Experience working in an Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) preferred.
Must have comprehensive knowledge of Army governing regulations, policies and procedures.
Above average knowledge of the logistic information polices, process and system that pertain to Maintenance, Supply and Services, and Transportation Services.
Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)
Possess high ethical standards and demonstrate professionalism.
Ability to work independently or in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.
Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, perform with a high degree of accuracy and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to interact at all levels.
