Actalent Electrical Engineer in Fayetteville, New York

Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description

  • Seeking an electrical engineer responsible for the design and development of electrical systems for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.

  • The role involves 70% of the work within a school district, focusing on renovations, additions, demolitions, and gutting K-12 projects across the state.

  • Approximately 80% of the day-to-day tasks will be dedicated to design, while 20% will be centered on construction administration tasks such as client phone calls, RFIs, and submittals.

  • The engineer will prepare detailed electrical design drawings and specifications using Revit or AutoCAD.

  • The candidate must have knowledge of electrical load calculations, lighting design, and power distribution planning.

  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

Skills:

  • 5 years of experience in electrical engineering

  • Knowledge of electrical load calculations

  • Lighting design

  • Power distribution planning

  • Proficiency in Revit (AutoCAD as a second option)

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Fayetteville, New York.

Work Environment

Work flexibility, hybrid schedule with 2 days at home
