Description We are in the healthcare industry, specifically in hospitals and social assistance, located in Federal Way, Washington. We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in providing essential financial services. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity where you will play a key role in maintaining our financial records and processing transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions with a high level of accuracy.

• Set up new vendors for accounts payable in a timely manner.

• Handle customer service inquiries related to vendor accounts.

• Conduct outbound and inbound calls related to accounts payable.

• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.

• Participate in auditing tasks as required.

• Support team coordinator with various tasks as needed.

• Utilize MS Excel for data management and financial tracking.

• Apply problem-solving skills to suggest improvements to existing processes.

• Ensure familiarity with 1099 forms and their appropriate use in financial transactions. Requirements • Proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proficiency in managing vendor relationships

• Ability to process vendor invoices efficiently and accurately

• Experience in handling multiple vendors simultaneously

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel

• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
