Advanced Paving and Construction Co., Inc., located at 18320 Shelbyville Road, Fisherville, KY 40023; Phone:502-648-7210; Email: advancedpaving@aol.com. 4 Construction Laborers needed for temporary, full-time employment at Advanced Paving and Construction, Inc.Construction Laborers perform the following job duties: Perform physical labor at construction sites including operating hand and power tools such as air hammers, earth, tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, and surveying and measuring equipment. Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials through work sites. Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. No education or prior work experience is required. Employer will offer at least 40 hours of work per week (8 hours per day), Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Workers must be available to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Workers are needed to begin work on 4/1/2025 through 11/20/2025.Work will be performed in Jefferson County, Kentucky; Shelby County, Kentucky; Oldham County, Kentucky; and Bullitt County, Kentucky.Workers will be paid no less than $22.53 per hour. Overtime hours may vary, depending on weather or other conditions, and will be paid no less than $33.80 per hour. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.Workers will be paid weekly, every Friday by check.The employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law.If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees).The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.Please inquire about the job opportunity or send applications and/or resumes, indicating availability, to Kentucky Career Center, 2900 W Broadway Suite 100, Louisville, KY 40211; 502-388-3010.
