The Guest Experience Manageris responsible for the daily operations of the Guest Experience. The Guest Experience Manager is accountable for maintaining a professional, safe, positive work environment, staff supervision, and administrative support. The Guest Experience Manager must be available to work any shift as needed, including nights and weekends. Work as a team with Housekeeping Manages and be cross-trained in these areas.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees Front Desk
- Participates in the Manager on Duty Program.
- Maintain guest room inventory.
- Hire and train employees; prepare schedules for the Front Desk Department to ensure proper staffing levels.
- Assist with proposing department budgets and adhering to approved budgets.
- Supervise Front Desk personnel during shift and assist other department managers in their absence; mentor and develop Supervisors and team members; listen, analyze, and resolve guest complaints.
- Ensure all cash handling is done per policies and procedures.
- Attends leadership meetings and conducts department meetings.
- Assist in conducting the weekly safety and upholding service standards. Coordinate with group leaders for arrivals, departures and bag pulls.
