Job Title: E&I Technician
Job Description
As an E&I Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining medium and low voltage electrical wiring, equipment, and systems. This role involves diagnosing and repairing malfunctioning equipment, reading and interpreting electrical circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics, and providing complete installation parts and material lists required for project installations.
Responsibilities
Assemble, evaluate, test, and maintain medium and low voltage electrical wiring, equipment, and systems.
Diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment.
Read and interpret electrical circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
Provide complete installation parts and material lists required for project installations.
Complete equipment installations timely and efficiently, meeting project specifications and deadlines.
Install wiring for medium and low voltage systems using hand tools, power tools, and specifications.
Use testing devices to identify and report electrical problems.
Install, wire, and program variable frequency drives, wiring motors to high and low voltage systems.
Install photo sensors, limit switches, and wire to programmable logic controller systems.
Install encoders used on conveyors and other automated equipment.
Essential Skills
Automation and instrumentation experience.
Experience troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs.
Ability to connect to networks.
Specific experience with robotics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in the food and beverage industry.

Work Environment
The majority of the plant is climate-controlled and maintains a clean environment. The work shifts is 3rd shift from 11:00pm-8:30am Monday-Friday. Standard weekly work includes 5 hours of overtime, with one day off during the week and every other weekend off. The specific day off will vary.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Florence, South Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $76960.00/yr.
-Weekly pay
-Benefits start on day 1
-1st year, PTO accrues 1.5 hours per week
-Shift differentials (1/hr for 3rd, .50/hr for 2nd)
