Job Title: Maintenance Planner

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Planner to oversee the maintenance and operations of our industrial manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong in both technical and administrative aspects of facility management, with a focus on food manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 4-6 hourly employees, providing guidance, training, and support.

• Report directly to the Facilities Superintendent, ensuring all maintenance activities align with company standards and goals.

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment systems, boilers, plant water systems, air compressors, HVAC systems (ammonia experience is a plus), various types of doors, and food manufacturing floor maintenance.

• Manage contractors and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

• Perform administrative tasks including the use of MS Office products, especially Excel, and CMMS systems.

• Conduct coaching and disciplinary actions for subordinates as needed.

Essential Skills

• Extensive experience in maintenance planning within an industrial manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency with CMMS systems and a firm grasp of industry-standard planning models.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.

• Financial acumen and the ability to manage maintenance budgets effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the food industry is highly favorable.

• Experience with Predictive Maintenance (PdM) techniques.

• Progressive experience in maintenance departments is desirable.

Work Environment

The majority of the plant is climate-controlled and maintains a clean environment. This is a day shift role with occasional weekend or after-hours work. Shifts are as follows: 1st shift: 5:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday, 2nd shift: 2:00pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday, 3rd shift: 11:00pm-8:30am Monday-Friday. The position includes 5 hours of overtime built in as a standard weekly, with one day off during the week and every other weekend off.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Florence, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $64480.00 - $72800.00/yr.
