Multi Craft Maintenance Technician

Job Description

• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment, including mechanical, plumbing, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.

• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.

• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.

• Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to management.

Hard Skills

• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic aptitude

• Ability to change out a motor (480V)

• Experience in a highly automated, production environment, preferably food and beverage manufacturing experience

• Knowledge of conveyor systems, PLCs, automation

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Florence, South Carolina.

Work Environment

The majority of the plant is climate-controlled. Clean environment.

Shifts:

1st - 5:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday

2nd – 2:00pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday

3rd - 11:00pm-8:30am Monday-Friday

Hours per Week: 5 hours of overtime is built in as a standard weekly. One day off during the week every week. Every other weekend off. The day off will vary and not everyone will be off on the same day
