Title:
LCV NORTHCOM: Generator Mechanic - Contingency
Position Overview:
As a Generator Mechanic, you will be responsible for daily maintenance tasks and documentation, ensuring the proper functioning of generators and light sets. You may travel to various sites within MORTHCOM to conduct technical inspections and operational checks. Strict adherence to safety protocols, including the use of personal safety equipment and compliance with HAZMAT regulations, is paramount.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Perform daily maintenance checks on generators and light sets.
Complete necessary documentation related to maintenance activities.
Travel to different camps in Poland to conduct technical inspections and operational checks.
Adhere to all safety rules and procedures.
Wear required personal safety equipment during tasks.
Follow HAZMAT rules and regulations concerning waste material from generators.
Utilize 2 years of experience to enhance maintenance operations.
Work on generators and engines, including SDMO – John Deere / Doosan engines, Himoinsa – Yanmar / FPT IVECO engines, Cummins engines, and Onis Visa – Perkins engines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Applicable Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of directly related experience.
Must have experience with any of the following generators and engines: SDMO – John Deere / Doosan engines, Himoinsa – Yanmar / FPT IVECO engines, Cummins engines, and Onis Visa – Perkins engines.
Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
Must have a valid State Driver’s License
Ability to pass a Military Background Check for access to military installations.
Authorization to work in the U.S.
