About the Position: The incumbent will be assigned to the 406th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center, Supply and Services Division, at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Responsibilities Serve as the Government Accountable Officer for Ammunition Supply Point services which include receipt, storage, issue, shipment and accountability for the installation's Class V supplies (ammunition, explosives, missiles/rockets and residue). Manage and account for the assigned ammunition, associated materiel, and Army Support Activity Stock Record Account records. Ensure all munitions stocks (including related components and packing materials/residue generated during the consumption of munitions) are properly accounted for and maintained. Monitor Ammunition Supply Point personnel to ensure forecasted training ammunition, munitions, and operational loads are requisitioned, received, stored, issued, retrograded, and residue processed. Approve/disapprove issue of ammunition; and certify residue is explosive free and determine destination. Use a variety of supply system automated reports/data to resolve problems and make improvements in warehouse procedures. Determine resource requirements (financial and manpower) and materials necessary to accomplish long-range work schedules. Analyze work plans and monitor the status of their work in relation to the overall schedule requirements, including unanticipated or emergency requirements.
