Full Time Carpenter Position

Job Description

Carpenter will be responsible for installing and repairing metal doors, cutting and measuring wood to build temporary and permanent doors and walls, and using hand and power tools on commercial projects in the Miami area. Carpenter will be responsible for providing their tools and transportation. This position requires the carpenter to work with, instruct, and teach 2-3 skilled laborers/apprentices.

Work Environment

The work environment includes new construction projects at daycare and assisted living facilities. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential for extended hours. PPE must be worn at all times. Candidates must be comfortable working in the elements as some buildings are not climate controlled. Project locations range from Miami to West Palm Beach, and candidates must be open to driving up to an hour one way.
