Automotive File Clerk - Summary

This position will perform a variety of clerical functions in support of the accounting department.Performs many organizational tasks to ensure the department has the most accurate and up-to-date documentation available. Main duties include collecting documents from departments, developing an effective document storage and filing system and scanning and copying hard copies of documents.

Automotive File Clerk - Essential Duties

  • Putting deal jackets and paperworkinto their proper locations.
  • Labeling and updating paper files.
  • Gathering and organizing files and documents for the department.
  • Scanning and copying files, faxing.
  • Maintaining supply inventories.
  • Creating, maintaining, and organizing file systems.
  • Troubleshooting computers, printers, fax machines, scanners, shredders and other office equipment.
  • Calling for maintenance and repairs of various office equipment as needed.
  • Answering phone calls and emails regarding documentation organization.
  • Sorting, delivering, picking up paperwork from other departments.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and neat work area.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Extremely detail orientated and organized.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and climb.
  • Ability to lift storage boxes (5 lbs).

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong computer and phone skills (Internet, MS Outlook, Excel and Word).
  • Understand deadlines and be able to apply the appropriate sense of urgency to all tasks.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
