Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Systems Architect to join our team in the Fort Meade, Maryland area.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The Senior Systems Architect will have the overall architecture picture in mind, and will design and operate as part of the tools team moving from directorate to directorate installing tools, customizing tools, and designing custom solutions.
They prepare and present presentations to leadership which convey the need, the design, and the benefits expected from each project the team undertakes.
The Senior Systems Architect takes direction from more senior staff as well as supervises and mentors subordinate project staff.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline
Nine or more (9+) years of position specific relevant experience.
Without a bachelors degree, four (4) additional years of experience are required
With an Associate’s degree rather than a Bachelors degree, two (2) additional years of experience are required
Candidates with a Masters degree are credited with 2 additional years of experience
Candidates with a PhD are credited with 4 additional years of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in an IT-related discipline.
Experience with MBSE tools and methodologies.
Relevant industry standard certifications.
Experience working with Agile methodologies (SAFe, Kanban, etc..)
Clearance Requirements:
- This position requires an active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

The projected compensation range for this position is $109,100.00-$181,100.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
