This position performs high-level technical, clerical, and administrative duties for Community Impact programs within the Human and Veteran Services Department.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze reports from various data sources.

  • Perform data entry, create and maintain forms, file, and manage document retention.

  • Attend meetings and write meeting minutes.

  • Validate long-term housing affordability for housing projects.

  • Prepare and disseminate program information.

  • Review and assign applications for owner-occupied rehabilitation assistance.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, Licensing

  • Requires any combination of education and/or experience equivalent to High School graduation or GED equivalent supplemented by specialized courses/training equivalent to completion of one year of college in business administration, finance, human resources, or closely related field and two years clerical, customer service, administrative or closely related office support experience.

  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record is preferred.

Supplemental Information

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with extensive experience in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

If you have retired from the Florida Retirement Pension plan you will not be eligible for renewed membership in either of the FRS retirement plan options. Retirees of the Investment Plan are eligible for renewed membership in the Investment Plan only. FRS reemployment rules apply for both.
