OneMain Financial Benefits Analyst Lead in Fort Worth, Texas
Reporting directly to the VP/D, Health & Wellness, the Benefits Analyst, will support the benefits strategy and daily administration of programs. Ensure all benefit programs are compliant with regulatory requirements and company policy.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborates with the benefits team to support the benefits strategy and ensure the best experience for team members
Acts as a liaison with insurance carriers, vendors, brokers, and consultants and internal partners (Vendor Management, Benefits Management, Communications, etc.) on execution of various matters such as contracts, communications, plan coverage and plan renewals.
Understands, interprets, and responds to ongoing benefit inquiries in a timely manner
Assist in planning and execution of annual enrollment
Facilitates benefits presentations to new hires, business partners or leadership
Develops and improves written processes; generates ideas to improve benefit programs and the employee experience
Ensures compliance with state or federal requirements with provisions of ERISA, HIPPA, COBRA, ACA, FMLA, FLSA, ADA, Workers Comp and internal policies.
Manages ADA Claims – working closely with employees, vendors, legal and management teams
Audits, analyzes, and verifies monthly billing and benefits funding for all health and welfare plans.
Reconciles benefit deductions for employees on leave.
Partners with the team as needed to plan, implement programs, campaigns, competitions, and challenges that educate and engage employees in healthy behaviors
Assist, lead or prepare ad hoc benefit project initiatives or presentations for Sr management.
Prepares benefit utilization dashboards
Serves as a project manager for onboarding new benefits programs and processes.
Assist or lead ad hoc benefits project initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or relevant field.
5-7 years’ experience in Human Resources or relevant field including prior experience in company-wide benefit campaigns.
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Experience with Workday preferred
Proficient knowledge of health and wellness benefit plans and ancillary programs
