Job Description
This position is for an F-35 Time Compliance Technical Directives (TCTDs) Authoring Team Manager. The role will be located at the customer site in Ft Worth, Texas on a hybrid schedule.
We are seeking a team leader with Logistics Analysis/Systems engineering experience to make significant contributions to the sustainment and process improvements of the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Program.
In this position, the selected candidate will be responsible to manage a team of Time Compliance Technical Directive Authors (TCTD) as well as leading operational aspects of the Modification and Inspection TCTD teams which is embedded within the Joint Technical Data (JTD) team. In addition, the candidate will work in conjunction with the TCTD Technical Leads and the Lockheed Martin TCTD Manager to monitor schedule adherence, assignments, workloads, and Action Requests (ARs). Will manage a variety of engineering services functions that could include technical publications, document control, data base management, scheduling of priority datasets or similar engineering support activities. The candidate selected will ensure the timely, thorough, and accurate completion of all TCTDs to meet field urgency and the Depot Flow Plan (DFP). The selected candidate will also assist upper management in identifying potential new products or business as well as defining program requirements; ensuring all contractual obligations are met. Selected individual will have constant pursuit of process improvement and always seek more efficient ways to operate. The candidate will supervise a team of technical professionals to include their initial hiring, orientation, training, work assignments, performance evaluations, and time sheet approvals.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
B.S. in Aerospace, Engineering, Aviation Mgt, or related technical field with a minimum of 8yrs related experience. Education requirement may be waived based on specific /related job experience.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
F-35 program experience highly desired
Understanding of F-35 or similar aircraft modification programs
Knowledge of Production Asset Inspection Requirements (PAIRs)
US military aircraft maintenance /maintenance management
Experience utilizing F-35 tools such as: JTD, PDM, JDL, VAS, Atlas, LDM, Vista, LIST, etc...
Full complements of MS Office tools
A&P license
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $118504 - $201457
