Work starts in Tarrant County, TX with additional work to follow in various locations along an itinerary with venues in: Johnson, Collin, Tarrant, Tom Green, Parker, Wichita, Ellis, Somervell, Kaufman, Dallas, McLennan, Van Zandt, Travis, Navarro, Hunt Counties TX; San Diego County CA; Knox County OH; Grayson County TX; Fayette County OH; Wise County TX; Franklin County OH; Milwaukee County WI; Licking County OH; Lancaster County NE; Comanche, Cooke, Denton Counties TX; Ramsey County MN; Onondaga County NY;
Fayette, Hood Counties TX; Shelby County TN; Bernalillo County NM; Reno County KS; Coryell, Bell, Williamson Counties TX; Oklahoma, Love Counties OK; Burleson, Harris, Austin, Liberty, Rockwall Counties TX; Caddo Parish LA. Must commute from home at prior worksite, to next worksite. Optional transportation offered by the employer at no cost to the worker.
Duties: Perform variety of attending duties at mobile carnival food concessions. Set up, tear-down, operate mobile food concessions.
Other requirements: Post-employment random drug testing and background checks may be required, at no cost to the worker. The job requires the applicant to be qualified, ready, willing, able, and available to perform during the entire employment at all the designated worksites; and to follow workplace rules.
Minimum Education Required: None. Minimum Experience Required: None.
Work Days: Schedule varies widely, typically 40 H/W Wed-Sun,1:00PM to 10:00PM. Employer will pay the prevailing hourly wage for each work location, ranging from $11.42 to $17.23, as per the prevailing wage determination. Merit increases and/or bonuses may be awarded at employer discretion. (The wage offer will equal or exceed the highest of the prevailing wage or the Federal, State or Local minimum wage in effect during employment).
A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday.
All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.
Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $15.88/day without receipts or up to $59/day with receipts.
