Junior Systems Engineer
Location : Fort Worth, TX (Hybrid)
Job Type : Long-Term Contract
Overview :
We are seeking a Junior Systems Engineer for a long-term contract role with a hybrid work model in Fort Worth. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Windows 10 and a foundational understanding of a variety of systems, networking, and server technologies.
Must Have :
- Experience with Windows 10
Desired Skills (Familiarity with the following is a plus):
MySQL database management
Apache web server
PuTTY SSH and Telnet Client
Ubuntu 18 Linux distribution
Windows Server 2019
Scripting: PowerShell, BASH , or similar
Storage technologies : SAN and NAS
TCP/IP Networking
Network technologies : firewalls, routing, LAN, WAN, DNS
System monitoring tools : (e.g., Dynatrace or others)
Server virtualization technologies : VMware ESX, Citrix XenApp, Microsoft HyperV
Application and Web servers
SSL technologies : https, sftp, SSH, TLS, etc.
