Job Title: Maintenance Manager
Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Maintenance & Engineering, the Maintenance Manager directs and coordinates activities of the Preventative Maintenance team and the stock room by performing duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. The role involves managing and planning maintenance policies, objectives, and initiatives, ensuring all preventative maintenance for facility and operational assets is completed. Additionally, the manager ensures project/department milestones and goals are met and adhered to approved budgets, while maintaining an appropriate level of spare parts in stock.
Responsibilities
Oversee finished and raw goods inventory roles under the Ingredient Control Department.
Work a flexible schedule that may include night shift, overtime, and weekends to support a 24/7 manufacturing plant.
Lead others in a team-based environment.
Be computer literate, including HMI Interface, HMI setup, email, and data logging.
Comply with food GMP standards.
Drive a preventative mindset to increase equipment uptime.
Use SAP or a comparable purchasing system.
Manage and maximize manufacturing level budgets.
Lead and manage projects of varying sizes and complexities.
Read, understand, and follow machine manuals, mechanical drawings, SOPs, and PIDs.
Be detail-oriented and comply with necessary documentation (work orders, parts inventory removal, etc.).
Exhibit exceptional diagnosis and troubleshooting skills required in a manufacturing plant.
Maintain a personal inventory of tools necessary to perform the job requirements.
Display a high sense of drive, initiative, urgency, and pride to support a high-volume, high-speed manufacturing plant.
Possess basic mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills (motor, gearbox, pneumatics, hydraulics, etc.).
Have basic electrical skills (motor replacement, sensor replacement, fuse replacement, understanding of PLCs, understanding of sensor systems).
Understand machinery timing (stroke, timing, position, dwell, etc.).
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment.
Experience with PLCs, pumps, valves, GMP, hydraulics.
Supervisory and management skills.
Maintenance management experience within the food & beverage industry.
High-speed manufacturing experience.
Work Environment
The work environment is a distribution and manufacturing facility around 400,000 sq. ft. It includes a high-speed bottling environment, manufacturing energy drinks and kids' nutrition drinks.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Fort Worth, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
Many of our positions work on average 15 days/month, based on 2-2-3 schedule; however, we have a variety of work schedules dependent on position and/or department
