Here you’ll interact daily with team members during the problem resolution process and will partner with other key stakeholders to support our internal customers and their responsibilities.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the Global Operations Equipment group, you will be responsible for ideation, design, and implementation of critical strategic initiatives. We have three production facilities located here in Fort Worth. You will help bring a strong focus to continuously improving both our team and our processes.

What do we want to know about you?

The data quality, part setup, & material health Planner contributes to manufacturing success by promptly setting & accurately maintaining planning parameters on all TXL/TXD parts in Oracle ERP system. Candidate should have the experience, expertise, and critical thinking capacity to solve complex problems by creating & implementing new planning processes. Additionally, this individual should have the ability to develop and execute objectives for self and others. This role will affect short-term and long-term business goals.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university

  • Minimum of 2 years of Supply Chain / Operations / Materials experience

  • Ability to think critically, adhere to best-practice standard work, implement new Planning processes, and communicate changes to cross-functional teams

  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans

  • Strong background in excel data analysis

  • Background using batch processing tools such as WebADIs & Dataloaders

  • Minimum of 2 years of Oracle experience

What will your typical day look like?

  • TXL & TXD Data Quality (GPDT)

  • New Part Setups (GIAW)

  • Material Health Reports

  • TXL Sim Plan

  • ABC Compile

  • BOM alignment

  • Analyze & load order modifier requests & work with Fulfillment / Sourcing / Inventory as required

  • Coordinate planning of new mBOM’s with configuration control team before new programs appear on Master Schedule

  • Provide Planning/Materials perspective on Engineering changes & cut-ins

  • Future Effectivity Date cut-ins

  • Planning parameter Oracle template manager

  • Work with MTA’s / Inventory Leader on root cause analysis of demand/inventory changes

  • Coordinate & maintain item safety stock levels with Materials Manager & Inventory Leader

  • Ad-hoc Materials projects & clean-ups

  • Escalate Planning issues to Master Scheduler, Materials, & Manufacturing teams

  • Collect and publish weekly/monthly metrics performing root cause analysis with team as needed. Present metrics to manager and team

  • Support specialized reporting requests such as “what if” and scenario analysis (Generally involving BOM and LT data)

What about the physical demands of the job?

  • Exposure to shop floor requires wearing PPE

  • Walking, climbing, stooping, stooping, bending, lifting is all part of the hands-on learning process

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary range for this role is between

$67,400.00-$96,000.00

The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. More information on offered benefits, which include health, welfare, and retirement, are available at mywabtecbenefits.com .
