Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for preventative maintenance, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and robotic troubleshooting. This role requires expertise in repairing and rebuilding machinery, gearboxes, motors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical systems, including 480v, 3-phase motors, sensors, VFDs, and control panels.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.

  • Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repairs, including rebuilding machinery, repairing gearboxes, replacing motors and hydraulic/pneumatic hoses, and adjusting sprockets.

  • Handle electrical troubleshooting tasks, such as working with 480v systems, 3-phase motors, sensors, VFDs, drives, and control panels.

  • Utilize multimeters for electrical fault diagnosis.

  • Troubleshoot robotic systems, particularly Fanuc robots.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs

  • Knowledge of electrical wiring and control panel troubleshooting

  • Understanding of robotics, particularly Fanuc systems

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety

Work Environment

The facility is climate-controlled, ensuring a comfortable working environment year-round. Safety is a top priority, with numerous safety measures in place. The plant is equipped with advanced robotics and Automatic Driverless Tuggers. Multiple breakrooms are available, including a large one with refrigerated or microwave meals, snacks, and a variety of beverages. We offer a paid 20-minute lunch break and two 15-minute breaks per shift. Available shifts are 2nd Shift (2:30pm - 10:30pm, $1 shift differential), and 3rd Shift (10:30pm - 6:30am, $1 shift differential).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $85280.00/yr.
