Pratt & Whitney Commercial Engines Customer Support is seeking a Frankfurt-based Field Service Representative to be the primary point of contact for airline customers in the region. Your responsibilities will be primarily focused on Customer Support, Program, Logistical, and Fleet Management tasks. You will also be tasked with providing assigned customers with technical and operational program support for the PW1100G-JM, PW1500G & V2500 engine families. The position will comprise of technical and program support tasks for these engine models, including interface with airline technical operations personnel as well as support of airline with their engine overhaul shop visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • At the customer level, the candidate will be the customer facing ambassador of our company, and as such must also be comfortable interacting with and providing real time technical and logistical information to a broad spectrum of airline personnel from Executive to Line Maintenance Technician.

  • Candidate must also be comfortable interacting and providing real time technical and logistical support to assigned Customer Focus Team (CFT), P&W colleagues, and P&W management representatives of all levels within P&W.

  • Customer Support, Program, Logistical, and Fleet Management tasks.

  • This position requires a highly motived self-directed individual who will be available on a 24/7/365 basis to deliver a world-class Customer support experience to our airline Customer

  • Engine events or customer interactions often occur at odd hours and under extreme time pressure constraints. The candidate must be willing to deal with and interact with internal and external customers.

  • Previous experience in a customer facing position interacting with all levels of an airline, and internal management, is highly valued.

  • Periodic travel to East Hartford and airline line stations will be expected.

  • Experience as a previous Field Representative is especially valued.

  • Team player, able to both take and give direction to expeditiously solve Customer issues

  • Effectively communicate in real time, both clearly and concisely, and in all forms

  • Ability to collaborate with other Field Representatives to advance solutions

  • Contributes to the business by applying their knowledge and skills in multiple functional areas

  • Directly interface with the airline customer to solve complex technical and operational issues, often at odd hours and under extreme time pressure

  • Self-starter, highly motivated and fully developed professional, able to work without direct guidance or direction from others

  • Highest level of personal and professional ethical standards, including but not limited to, compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and company policy is required. Character and Integrity matter, as this is the first point of contact within our company

  • Expected time spent traveling: 20%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct PW1100G-JM, PW1500G & V2500 experience a plus

  • Proficient in English

  • Knowledge of PW products and services

  • Working for / with airlines Customers

  • Proficient in MS Office, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams
