Community Health Systems Data Analyst Sr in Franklin, Tennessee
Job Summary
The Senior Data Analyst plays a critical role in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced data analytical solutions focused on improving operational efficiency, enhancing patient care, and/or optimizing resource allocation. The role requires a high degree of proficiency in data processing, analytical techniques, statistical modeling, and data visualization, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills.
Essential Functions
Extracts, cleanses, and transforms clinical, operational and/or financial healthcare data from various internal and external sources, particularly UKG Healthcare Productivity
Assess productivity performance for multiple hospitals at the department level
Evaluate department productivity targets and staffing grids
Collaborate with other operational groups within CHS, such as nursing, imaging, lab, etc
Contributes to the design, development and maintenance of data warehouses and other repositories.
Creates compelling data visualizations and reports to communicate complex findings to diverse audiences.
Performs analyses to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly productivity reports
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or Information Systems from an accredited college or university required
1-2 years experience in data analytics, healthcare operations, program management or relevant support services required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc)
Working knowledge of SQL programming
Ability to communicate across diverse constituents; medical staff, office staff, technology specialists and government organizations.
Ability to provide leadership with key issues, develop solutions, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
Ability to resolve conflicts and/or negotiate with others to achieve positive results; establish and maintain effective interpersonal relations.
