Aerotek's client is seeking for individuals that are looking to get into the electrical trade. This position offers a valuable opportunity to learn and grow in the electrical field under the guidance of experienced professionals.

This candidate will work in the fab shop learning and pulling wires for the first two months, then transition to commercial sites with one of our lead electricians to learn the trade for the last two months.

Responsibilities:

• Learn to interpret electrical schematics and diagrams

• Gain hands-on experience with various tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters

• Support senior electricians in commercial, construction site, and industrial settings

• Perform tasks related to low voltage systems

• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times

Work Environment

• They will work on various construction projects sprinkled all over the DC Metro area. As an apprentice, they will be paired with journeyman electricians who will provide hands-on training.
